Verifying data Path of the Practice Management SystemsDental VisionVersion: See the title bar ![]() Data Path: Control Panel >> Administrative Tools>>Data Sources >> System DSN - Tab DentrixVersion: To check the Dentrix login to Dentrix. On the main screen of Dentrix select the “Help” tab and point to “About Dentrix” as shown below. ![]() The screen displaying Dentrix version will come up as shown below. ![]() Data Path: Click Start > Programs >Dentrix> Office Manager on client’s computer whichyou access through Team Viewer (TV). ![]() Dentrix will then ask for its User ID and Password. There you have to enter the user id and password of the Dentrix system. For the specific customer you will get Dentrix user id and password in REMOTE ACCESS section of our SikkaCrm . Enter user id and password and click OK. Then you will see a screen with name Dentrix Office Manager. On the Menu bar click Maintenance >Practice Setup > Preferences. ![]() Now you will be able to see the PREFERENCES screen. On the Preferences screen you will see a tab with name PATHS. ![]() Click the PATHS tab. On this screen you will be able to see the correct database PATH of Dentrix. Dentrix Ascend1. Practice Management System: Select “Dentrix Ascend” as shown in the above screen. 2. Version: Select version as “Web”. If the client belongs to Zentist then we will have to select Web 2.0 and for the client’s needing huge data will have select Web 3.0. 3. Host: Confirm the Host URL from the client. It may vary from client to client. 4. Organization: Also get the Organization name from the client. ![]() ![]() 5. PMS Login Credentials: PMS User Name and PMS Password we will have to gain from the client. 6. Once all this information is configured we can try performing refresh. Dentrix EnterpriseVersion: Select the Dentrix as a Practice Management System. Select the Enterprise as a Version. For the Data Path of Dentrix Enterprise PMS, click the button that shown in below screenshot it will opens the window to select the server of Dentrix Enterprise PMS. ![]() Data Path: Click on the Drop Down option shown in below screenshot to select the Dentrix Enterprise PMS database server name. ![]() Select one appropriate server name from the list. ![]() Set the working PMS User Login details who has admin level PMS access or PMS Database access in the PMS User Name and PMS Password textbox. Also, set the PMS database username and PMS database password in the PMS database user and PMS database password textbox who has admin rights but it is optional. ![]() Click on the Apply button to Save all the settings as I shown in below screenshot. ![]() Practice WorksVersion: To check Practice works version you just have to open the Practice works software. On the login screen itself the version is displayed. ![]() Data Path: Click Start > Programs > Practice Works > Utilities. ![]() You will see a screen with name Practice Works Utilities. ![]() On the above screen you have to select tab with name DICTIONARY LOCATION. Then you will be able to see a small window with name WHERE DICTIONARY POINTS TO. On this page you will be able to view the data path. ![]() Practice WebVersion: To check Practice web version you have to open the Practice web software. Click on Help menu and then click on About. ![]() The below pop-up window will come which will show the version ![]() Data Path: Right click on the Practice web icon as shown below. ![]() Click on open file location ![]() It will open the path location where Practice web is installed. Just copy that full path. It will be the data path for Practice web. ![]() QuadraPMS Version and icon:![]() SPU Configuration Details: Practice Management System: Select Quadra from drop down list. Datapath: Goto pms file location path and check quadra.mdb file available folder location.Set that directory path as a data path in the SPU. Version: Select “Web” as the version. Login URL: Configure the PMS URL in the host field. (ex: https://gosensei.us/) PMS Login Credentials: Enter the PMS Username and the Password. For the cloud version datapath is managed in the ETL so anything that can be added to the data path only needs to set the correct PMS version. Version: Select “Web” as the version. Login URL: Configure the PMS URL in the host field. (ex: https://lincolnwelland.akituone.cloud ) PMS Login Credentials: Enter the PMS Username and the Password. SPU: SPU configuration look like below. ![]() OpenDentalVersion: Login to OpenDental. On the main screen select the Help option and click “Update” tab as shown in the following screen. ![]() When you click the Update tab window showing version will come up as shown in the following screen. ![]() Data Path: For OpenDental we have to select the folder that contains the file “FreeDentalConfig.xml”. Click on data path button and select SQL Server Instance matching to the highlighted server instance in Dolphin.ini file and click on apply button. ![]() OrthotracVersion: For version go to Help >> About ![]() For data path go to SPU. Click on data path button. ![]() Select SQL Server Instance and click on apply button. ![]() Curve HeroData Path and Version: It is cloud based software. Select version as Web. Enter Curve Hero URL provided by practice into data path. PMS User Name and Password are mandatory. ![]() CleardentData Path: To verify the data path for Cleardent PMS right click on ![]() At this location open the file with name Cleardent.exe.config. ![]() 3) Once we open this file, we have to review the tag with name Cleardent.SQLConnection whose value of “data source” attribute is the data path and value of “initial catalog” attribute is the database that we have to set in SPC as shown below. If there are multi practices you will find entries one below the other as shown here in the screen. ![]() Note: In any condition do not save any change or update this file named “Cleardent.exe.config”. ![]() XLDentVersion: For version and SQL Instance go to About. ![]() ![]() SQL Server username and password is mandatory and should be entered as PMS User Name and PMS Password respectively. ![]() EagleSoftVersion: For Version go to Help >> About ![]() For data path go to SPU. Click on data path button. ![]() Select Dental data source as shown above. Ortho 2Version: For Version go to Help >> About ![]() Follow above mentioned sequence 1,2 and 3 as shown below: ![]() For database name, click on dropdown list and select database. ![]() Database name should be from System info as shown above. AdvantageVersion: For Version go to Home Screen ![]() Follow above mentioned sequence 1,2 and 3 as shown below: ![]() DentechVersion: For Version go to Home Screen On Title bar you can see company file details. In the Following screen it shows that Version is 9.2 and Company is “1” ![]() Then go to Application folder. Navigate to DTWIN folder as shown in following screen: ![]() Locate and go into DAT Folder. Go into company folder which is “C01” in this case as title bar showed C1. This is data path. DentitekPMS: ![]() Version: Click on the PMS logo, On the main screen PMS version will come up as shown below. ![]() Data Path: Click on the data path button as shown in the screenshot below and type DSN in the provided text box. Add Database username and password in username and password field respectively and click OK button. ![]() ClientTraxPMS: ClientTax PMS as shown in the desktop screen and open the ClienTrax PMS ![]() Version: To check the ClienTrax version login to ClienTrax PMS. Then click on the Help button icon and select “About ClienTrax” then you will see the screen below. Use this as the PMS version in SPU. ![]() We can find Database DSN in: Control Panel >> Administrative Tools>>ODBC Data source(32-bit) When you click on ‘ODBC Data source(32-bit)’, the following window will display. Then select ‘System DSN’, and here you can find the DSN name that is created. We can use this DSN name to configure as datapath in SPU. ![]() Then configure the details in the SPU as shown below. ![]() DoxPedoVersion: To check the version of DOX login to DOX. On the main screen of DOX click on “Help” tab and select “About ” as shown below. ![]() When you click “About” button the window displaying version will pop up as shown below. ![]() Data Path:TTo check Data Path login to DOX and follow the path, 1) START >> Right Click on DOX>>Properties >> Open File Location>>DOX.ini ![]() 2) After that click on a “Open File Location” from the pop up window ![]() 3) Select and open “DOX.Ini” configration file. ![]() 4) Screen will pop up with a data path of PMS. ![]() DomtrakVersion: Most probably data base folder for Domtrak is “C:\VB6DDesigns”. If this folder is not found on C drive then we will have to search for this folder in other drives on the PC. Second condition is that, we have to open this folder and check if the following 3 mentioned access datbases are present at this location. These three databases are 1)Domtrak.mdb 2)Schedule.mdb 3)tempdb.mdb Note: Please note extension for the above mentioned databases might be .accdb rather than mdb depending on Microsoft Access database version. Once we get the location for this folder we have to set this location’s path in SPU as database path. A screenshot is provided below for reference. ![]() LiveDDMVersion: When you double click the LiveDDM icon in order to open the PMS, it shows the version on the initial screen as shown below. ![]() Data Path: Data path is the instance name of the SQL Server for this PMS. In order to view it, click on User >> Terminal Settings as shown below. ![]() Now the following screen will come up. Server name shown here is the data path and also after selecting the data path you will need to select the database name as shown in the screen below. ![]() PBS-EndoVersion: For Version go to Help >> About ![]() ![]() Data Path: Locate “PBS Endo” icon on desktop. See below screenshot ![]() Right click on “PBS ENDO” icon and click on “Open File Location”. It will show this screen ![]() Copy this location path and enter it into SPC ![]() Onces data path entered click on Apply and perfrom Refresh. TrackerVersion: You will get the PMS version on the home screen of the PMS as shown in the following screen. ![]() To verify data path right click on the Tracker icon and select “Open File Location” as shown below. ![]() At this location there is a file with name Settings.Config. ![]() Open this file with Notepad. Then it will look as shown below. Select the ServerName tag as data path. Once you select the data path then select the database name. ![]() At this location there is a file with name Settings.Config. Data Path: Data path section of SPC for the above file will look as shown below. ![]() TDOVersion: We get the version on the login screen as shown below. ![]() On this screen we get the PMS version as shown below. Data Path: TDO Configuration for API Link & API Key in SPU: Set the following API Link in SPU (Which is Static always) API Link: - https://tdoclouddataapi.azurewebsites.net/ Set API Key provided by TDO: - (Change for every client and it provided by TDO) ![]() Ortho2EdgePMS: Ortho2Edge PMS as shown in the desktop screen and open the Ortho2Edge PMS. ![]() Data Path: Data path shown below > Data Center. ![]() Insert valid PMS username and PMS password. After that, SPC will automatically detect ortho2Edge configuration information from the service. Data center and database name are detected from this. No need to add manually. Data Path: Data path section of SPC for the above file will look as shown below. ![]() OryxData Path and Version: It is a cloud-based PMS. Select version as Web. Enter the Oryx URL provided by practice into the data path. PMS User Name and Password are mandatory. These details will be provided by the clinic/practice. ![]() ProgidentPMS: Progident PMS as shown in the desktop screen and open the Progident PMS. ![]() PMS version: Double click on PMS icon.Login window will open. PMS version is shown in the screenshot below: ![]() Data Path: Right click on PMS icon and go to the file location. Select data folder in that. This is the Data Path. ![]() Select PMS name as Progident and version from the list. After inserting all the details, apply settings and then save. ![]() ParadigmPMS: Paradigm PMS as shown in the desktop screen and open the Paradigm PMS. ![]() Look for paradigm desktop logo. Right click on the paradigm desktop logo and look for Target. PMS version is shown in the screenshot below: ![]() Data Path: Here the server name is "SVR-01" Open Windows Explorer --> Network --> SVR-01 There you will find a shared folder "Sic". In this shared network folder you will find Access DB. ![]() Set up to SIC folder path as a data path in SPU and PMS Version as V8 QSI DentalPMS: For PMS login of QSI dental WEB, you can use the following URL: https://app.qsidentalweb.com/ Mandatory fields needed to be configured in SPC for QSI PMS name, PMS User name, password, and version. SPC will look like the following screenshot upon the configuration of the details. ![]() StringSoftPMS: StringSoft PMS as shown in the desktop screen and open the StringSoft PMS. ![]() PMS version: Double click on PMS icon. Login window will open with PMS details. As shown below: ![]() Data Path: Right click on PMS icon and go to the file location. This is the Data Path. ![]() Select PMS name as StringSoft and version from the list. Add PMS file location as the data path. After inserting all the details, apply settings and then save. ![]() VIAPMS: Click on the icon, as shown in the screenshot, and open the VIA PMS. ![]() Version: To check the VIA version, log in to VIA PMS. Then click on the Help button icon and select "About VIA". You will see the screen below. Use this as the PMS version in SPU. ![]() Data Path: To add a data path we need to follow below steps: We have to select the Data path, as shown below, Click on the Icon mentioned in the below image, then select the SQL server Instance. ![]() Then configure the details in the SPU as shown below, and also set the VIA user Details, in that set the User Name as PMS User Name and Password as PMS Password. ![]() AutopiaPMS: Autopia PMS as shown in the desktop screen and open the Autopia PMS. ![]() PMS version: Click on Help option for view PMS version. ![]() Data Path: On machine directory found Dental folder in that found DWW_svr.ini File. Open in notepad. In DWW_svr.ini file has data path. ![]() Data Path ![]() Select PMS name as Autopia and version set as given in PMS help section. Need to set data path manually. Select directory folders as per given path in DWW_svr.ini file. Apply settings and then save. ![]() PlanetDDSPMS: Planet DDS is Web base. PMS Login URL Link: https://www.planetdds.com/denticon-login ![]() PMS version: Select PMS name as Planetdds and version set as Web. Data Path: This PMS has daily basis database file downloading and next day scheduling functionality. Downloaded DB files are placed in DATA folder. Data folder has practice wise separate folders. Datapath for data folder-> Right click on SPU icon and click on open file location. In that folder present DATA folder and Set this path as Datapath in SPU. ![]() Select PMS name as Planetdds and version set as Web. Need to set data path manually. Select directory folders as per given path in above screenshot (up to DATA folder). PMS login details are mandatory. Set PMS login details as PMS user name and PMS password in SPU. Apply settings and then save. ![]() PlanetDDS web 2.0 Step1 : Login to PMS and goto below option: Click on setup option->goto offices option-> click on vendor API settings ![]() Step2: Vendor API setting will open and search Sikka vendor or vendor associated with sikka. After that click the Generate Email template option as shown in below screenshot. ![]() Step 3: As per below screenshot set the PGID, Client key as Authentication key, OID. Here 2 offices assigned offices for Sikka then oid field values separated by comma. Ex: oid = 208, 214 ![]() SPU Configuration: Using above PMS setting set SPU configuration. SPU looks like the below screenshot. 1) Offices id list set as OID 2) Client key set as a Auth Key 3) PGID set as a PGID ![]() ChiroTouchPMS: ChiroTouch PMS as shown in the desktop screen and open the ChiroTouch PMS. ![]() PMS version:Front page of PMS. ![]() It will show you following screen (Path like “C:\Program Files\PSChiro”. Please note path may be different but the folder should be “PSChiro”). Find a Config /XML file called chirotouch. (File Name may look like “chirotouch” or “chirotouch.config” or “chirotouch.xml”) Open file with notepad as shown below. Note: If you not found installation path, then please try to find in other drives also. ![]() Data Path:Now find DataSouce in opened notepad as shown below. In this case you can see “Server1” is the source for database. ![]() Copy this DataSource value and Paste it into SPC Data Path Input box and select “PSChiro” Database Name and Save changes. Select SQL Server Instance and click on apply button. ![]() MacPracticeVersion: About MacPractice ![]() Data Path: Showing Data path and version. See below screenshot ![]() Copy this data path, version and enter it into SPC ![]() MaxidentVersion: For the PMS version Login to the PMS > Help > About Maxident. ![]() On this screen we get the PMS version as shown below. ![]() Data Path: Data path for Maxident is the instance name of SQL server as shown in the following image. ![]() Therefore in order to get the data path we have to select the browse button of “Data Path” in SPC. ![]() Select SQL server box will come up from where we must select the SQL server instance. If we are not sure about the instance name select the one that contains the name “Maxident”. As per the following image the option number one. ![]() Then from the database dropdown select the database with name “Maxidata”. Data path and database name will look like shown below. ![]() MedisoftVersion: For the PMS version Login to the PMS > Help > About Medisoft. ![]() On this screen we get the PMS version as shown below. ![]() Data Path: For setting data path of Medisoft we need to find the Medidata folder. This folder should contains files with type .adt and .adi files as shown in the following screen. ![]() After selecting the data path select the database with name “Medisoft”. Before installing the SPC, confirm from the project manager about whether the client is activated by the Allscripts and we have following details: Ubiquity URL , Ubiquity id, Client ID and Tenant ID After installing Sikka Platform Utility, PMS Data Path: https://ubiquityunity.azurewebsites.net/UnityService.svc/unityservice Select PMS name as Allscripts. Select PMS version as Web. To get the Database name, PMS Database username and Password, follow below steps. Login to the Allscripts portal https://developer.allscripts.com/Account/Login ![]() ![]() ![]() Get the Database name, PMS Database username and Password from here. Database name: It is Allscripts Sikka Application name.SPC will not detect it. Add it manually. PMS Database User name and Password: Sikka’s application credentials Generate SPC PMS database user shown as below: PMS Database User = Ubiquityid:Clientid^Tenantid^PMSUserName Example: AB123:PQ456^1^xyz25abc Sikka Password will expire after 6 months. Need to generate and collect it from the Allscripts developer portal. By the SPC command, we can update it for all the customers Scheduling section: As this is a web version parser, for some customers depends on data, refresh may take more than 3 hours. Because of this, by default, parser will set data refresh wait time up to 7 hours ( 420 minutes ) after the data refresh starts. Apply settings and then save. ![]() |
